Tasty Tomato:Have you ever wondered what to do
with all of those Tomatoes that ripen at once at the
end of the season? We used to freeze them.
That's right,we placed whole tomatoes on baking sheets,
froze them,and then stored them in plastic bags.
The skins cracked during the process,making them easy
to peel when they thawed out.

"Tomato" Word of Wisdom
"Tomato" leaves in another fresh from the garden
potion to protect flowers from flea beetles,whitefiles,
and other pesky pests.
To make your own supply,put 2 cups of chopped
tomato leaves in a pan with 4 cups of water.
Bring the water to simmer(not a boil). Then turn off
the heat,and let the mixture cool. Strain out the leaves,
and add 1/2 teaspoon of dish-washing liquid to the water.
Pourthe solution onto a hand-held spray bottle,and spritz
your plants from top to bottom.Tomato leaves are
poisonous,so don't use this spray on any plants that
you intend to eat.
